The Honey Badger Tanto draws on the Samurai tanto’s armour-piercing heritage with a modern, angular blade profile. Instead of a curved belly, the tanto uses a strong, stepped edge transition that creates a reinforced tip. That robust point pierces tough materials with confidence and holds up under hard use. While most day-to-day tasks don’t require armour-piercing power, the Tanto’s design excels at controlled piercing, tough cuts, and precise work.
The blade is made from D2 tool steel and finished in Black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). The PVD layer is more than cosmetic — it forms a very hard protective barrier that resists scratching and abrasion and improves the blade’s corrosion resistance, so the knife stays reliable and good-looking through heavy, everyday use.
