Hawkbill Blade – Honey Badger “Claw” Models

Hawkbill knives, also known as talons, feature a curved spine and edge that form a sharp downward-facing point. The blade cuts best when pulled back toward the handle or used in a side motion. This makes it ideal for practical tasks like cutting carpet, linoleum, or pruning vegetation.

The same design serves professionals well — yachtsmen use it for cutting rope, and emergency responders rely on it as a rescue knife.

This style, often called a Karambit, originated in Sumatra as a farming tool. Over time, it evolved into a versatile knife with defensive applications in various martial arts techniques.
