Honey Badger Knives 2026 Photo Contest – Official Rules

Contest Period:
The Honey Badger Knives 2026 Photo Contest begins on August 28, 2025, and ends at 23:59 SAST on October 23, 2025.

Eligibility:
The contest is open to amateur and professional photographers who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, affiliates, and family members of Honey Badger Knives are not eligible to enter.

Submission Requirements:

• Submissions must feature Honey Badger Knives products as the primary subject.
• Only electronic submissions through the official website at www.honeybadgerknives.co.za will be accepted. Entries via email or social media will be disqualified.

Image Specifications:

• Minimum Pixels: 3300 (Length) x 2250 (Height)
• Print Size: 11’’ x 8.5” (landscape)
• Resolution: 300 dpi
• Orientation: Landscape only
• Maximum File Size: 25 MB

Tips for Meeting the Requirements:

• Make sure your camera or phone is set to the highest resolution possible.
• Use landscape orientation when taking photos; vertical images will not meet the size requirements.
• Avoid cropping images below the minimum pixel dimensions.
• If resizing your image, check that the resolution remains at 300 dpi to prevent blurry or pixelated submissions.

Judging:

1. The Honey Badger Knives team will select 20 entries that best meet the submission guidelines.
2. From the top 20, the management team will select one winner for the 2026 calendar cover.
3. The remaining 19 entries will be featured in an online public voting gallery for 6 days.

Notification of Winners:
Winners will be contacted via the email address provided during submission. Winners must respond within five (5) business days, or they may be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Prizes:

• Cover Image Winner: 1 x Large Honey Badger Leaf M390 (valued at R5,299) and a copy of the 2026 calendar.
• Calendar Month Winners (12): Something new and exciting! Don’t worry, it will be worth it ;-).

Note: Prizes may be prohibited in certain countries. Entries are void where prohibited.

Conditions of Entry:
By submitting a photograph, participants grant Honey Badger Knives a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, adapt, create derivative works, and distribute the image in whole or in part, in any form and media, for the purposes of promoting the contest, showcasing the images, and honoring the photographer. Wherever possible, the photographer will be credited.

Additional Conditions:
Honey Badger Knives reserves the right to modify or update the rules at any time.
Non-compliant entries may be disqualified.
Feel free to enter multiple times, however, only one entry per person will be considered for the Top 20 finalists.

Agreement to Rules:
By entering, participants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of Honey Badger Knives, which are final and binding.
